The hotel offers great location short walk to the river, the historic centre of a town and the Blois castle. Also, a family-friendly museum is just a pleasant stroll away from the venue. The rooms are lovely and amazing, with minifridge and TV provided.

Great place & lovely room that was beautiful. The staff were helpful and very pleasant too. My room included a mini fridge bar, central heating, and coffee and tea making equipment. There was a bathtub, a plus for me. Had magnificent and fantastic location in the middle of the city, just a walking distance from Les Jardins de l'ancien Eveche. Further, it was near to the centre of the medieval part of the town, the Blois castle and Blois.

It was a perfect location for us, close to the historic centre of a town as well as the castle. Btw, spots like Place du Chateau where few metres away from the hotel too.

The room was exceptionally nice and incredible and complete with a bath. Liked view of city. The location was super and great in the very heart of Blois. The staff was amiable, some of them especially.

As foreign tourists, we loved the unique "Art-Deco" room with antique decor, excellent cross-ventilation, and a view of the Chateau's plaza. The central location near the tourist office made it easy to explore the essential sights. Claire, the owner, provided a fantastic breakfast for 10 euros and took care of everything from check-in to check-out. We would gladly stay here again.

It would have been nice to have more storage options in the room, such as a dresser for clothes, to avoid working from the floor or out of a suitcase all the time.

La Forge Du Roy surpassed my expectations in every way. The historic building next to Blois Castle exuded a charming and authentic atmosphere, taking me on a journey back in time. The location was unbeatable, being right next to the castle and river. The staff were caring and helpful, ensuring a memorable stay.

Menu for breakfast could have been improved with the addition of a dresser or something to open our valise on, rather than having to work from the floor and out of a suitcase all the time.
